Education is the key to trends, fashion, new products, and inspiration. No technology would exist without understanding our history, educating ourselves and teaching what we know. Having the curiosity to explore what we don’t know and seeking this knowledge is what fresh modern ideas come from. We have to understand the dynamics of how our craft works, so that we are free to see the person in the chair and collaborate what is best for them. Redken education gives us a language to speak to each other and an understanding of our craft that empowers us to become what ever our dream is, in a safe environment.
I have been a facilitator at the Redken Exchange for 11 years I have taught various classes and traveled all over the planet, I am also a editorial hairdresser in NYC published in many consumer magazines. The combination of these careers has given me the ability to understand both editorial and education avenues in our designing world.
